Course Overview

The hospitality industry continues to grow at a rapid rate which means there continues to be a huge demand for graduates who can demonstrate an in-depth understanding of business theory as it applies to the sector alongside first-hand, relevant experience. In terms of expected growth, the UK is leading the way for Western Europe. In 2012, 8,000 new hotel rooms opened in London alone and a further 5,000 are forecast to open in 2013. As one of the most important financial and business centers in the world, London is a hospitality hub, offering some of the very best examples in terms of service and luxury accommodation. There are 54 Michelin-starred restaurants in the capital and 1,600 hotels in central London alone. This degree course offers the chance to experience some of this first-hand.

General Eligibility

96 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A-Levels (or equivalent). 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths.

• If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
