Course Overview
This programme builds skills in structural design, construction methods, and infrastructure planning. Students study how buildings, roads, bridges, and water systems are designed and constructed. Practical sessions include laboratory work, site visits, and design projects that connect study material with real engineering tasks.
Graduates can enter roles in construction companies, engineering consultancies, and infrastructure development firms. The course also supports further study in specialised civil engineering fields such as structural or environmental engineering.
Learning takes place in a mixed student setting with participants from different countries, which supports wider exposure to engineering practices used in various regions. Academic staff guide students through technical subjects, software use, and project-based tasks. The programme prepares students for entry-level engineering roles and further academic progress in civil engineering studies.
