The Professional Writing pathway allows students to develop skills needed to use the written word in various professional contexts, such as journalism, marketing and advertising. It focuses on developing writing for publication in multiple formats while also analysing broader personal, social and ethical questions around writing effectively and responsibly in a fast-moving, global professional environment.

Usually, a First Class or Upper Second Class Honours Degree in English Literature or another relevant discipline (which might, for example, include Media, Creative Writing or English Language).
