Offering expert tuition, study, and exploration of drama and theatre practices, research methods, and critical frameworks you will have the support to realize your performance and creative ambitions. The course is designed to develop your creative skills, theoretical understanding, and research interests. Why study this course with us? The philosophical basis of the MA Drama course is a belief in artistic development through active self-discovery. Through the teaching and supervision of the course, you shape your own learning on the modules by integrating scholarly frameworks with your own practice. This may be in contemporary performance practices or more established forms of theatre.
Applicants will normally hold a 1st or 2:1 honours degree in drama and theatre studies or a related subject. Where applicants are not progressing directly from a degree, professional experience and expertise will be taken into account.
