Course Overview

This course explores methods for studying religion as well as engaging you in the study of religions/spiritualities as they are lived in diverse contexts and by communities across the globe. You can explore religious philosophies, the relationship between religion and culture, and the interface between religion, history, ethics, politics, and spirituality. Chester is an exciting place to study Religious Studies. With a large team of religious studies scholars working at the cutting edge of their fields, we are able to offer an excellent range of modules. You will also have the opportunity to develop your own interests and engage contemporary questions with religious texts and traditions.
