Course Overview
You’ll have good research skills and be able to analyse complex information from a range of sources. You’ll be able to construct clear and persuasive arguments, and present and defend them using your advanced communication skills. You’ll also have good organisational skills from juggling two different subjects.
Recent graduates have gone into careers in business, the Civil Service, education, finance, heritage, teaching, publishing, fashion, journalism, law, local government, media, marketing and politics to name just a few.

A-level: AAB including A in History (if taken)
Other course specific tests:
Where an applicant is taking the EPQ in a relevant subject this might be considered alongside other Level 3 qualifications and may attract an alternative offer in addition to the standard offer. If you are taking A Levels, this would be ABB at A Level including A in History (if taken) and grade A in the EPQ.
Part Time Work Details
20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
Language Requirement
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic or IELTS for UKVI (United Kingdom Visas and Immigration) (Academic) or IELTS Online at 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in each component skill. Please note that we cannot accept results from these tests that are over two years old at the start date of the course you intend to study.
TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test) or TOEFL iBT Home Edition at 80 overall with no less than 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, and 19 in writing. Please note that we do not accept TOEFL My Best scores and we expect candidates to have met the relevant requirements from a single TOEFL test.
