BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Motorsport)

Course Overview

This course covers the technical needs of the motorsport industry, providing essential knowledge for competition maintenance and repair technicians.

You will work with and develop a competition-specification car for the area and be involved with stripping and rebuilding race engines, scrutineering, data logging, porting, polishing, and much more.

We will provide overalls, safety boots, and safety glasses as part of the course.

General Eligibility

• At least five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths,

  or

• a Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance Repair, with Functional Skills in English and Maths at Level 2.
