Diploma Practical Nursing

The Diploma Practical Nursing program at Durham College prepares students to become competent and compassionate practical nurses. The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and clinical experience necessary to succeed in the field. Students will learn how to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, as well as how to work effectively in a healthcare team. Graduates of the program are eligible to write the Canadian Practical Nurse Examination (CPNRE) and register with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
