Geography explores the big questions about our planet and is fundamental to our understanding of our rapidly changing world. Our BSc Geography program combines both human and physical geography and explores some of the critical local and global challenges of this century, such as climate change, globalization, and sustainable development. We offer a core foundation in human, physical, and environmental geography in our first-year modules. These modules introduce you to the key themes in geography as well as provide you with the skills used to analyze and solve problems within both the human and physical environment. You will then have the opportunity to pursue a diverse range of specialisms that match your interests in your second and third years of study.
Our Geography graduates have an excellent track record in gaining employment in a wide range of professions and organizations. On graduating you will have developed a wide range of subject-specific and transferable skills actively sought by employers. These will include the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
