Course Overview

Discover your creative potential, experiment with form and genre, and push boundaries with your writing. Our award-winning team of writers and our supportive writing community will challenge you to develop your writing skills and find your own creative voice. We believe that good writing always comes from good reading. Our teaching emphasizes the importance of engaging with the wider world of literature in order to develop your own style. You will study varied and fascinating writing from the past, as well as learning from contemporary writers. You will learn to read and analyze texts to develop your understanding of creative processes and apply this to your own writing.

General Eligibility

104 UCAS Tariff points 3 GCSEs at grade C/4 (or equivalent) including the English Language.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • If English is not your first language you will need to show that you have English Language competence at IELTS level 6.0 (with no skill below 5.5) or equivalent.
