Our MSc Adult Nursing (Pre-registration) is an exciting, innovative two-year pre-registration Adult Nursing course. It is the first of its kind in Scotland that is underpinned by a Masters's level of education. This will enable you to become a highly educated nurse with longer-term potential for roles in areas such as management leadership consultancy educational research Our course will also prepare you for professional registration, with key components including the delivery of: person-centred care / compassionate care / value-based care / patient safety agenda / professional legal and ethical issues
You must:
possess an appropriate Ordinary bachelor's degree in biological, health, social science, nursing, or related subject obtained within five years
be able to provide an academic reference, as well as copies of your formal university transcript and award certificate
You should also demonstrate competency in literacy and numeracy*; In terms of Scottish qualifications, Maths* should be at least:
SQA National 5 (Grade C, or above) or
SQA Intermediate 2 (Grade C, or above) or
SQA Standard Grade (Credit) or
Alternative, equivalent qualifications will be accepted. Otherwise, Numeracy testing will be required.
* for Scottish applicants, SQA Life Skill Mathematics / Application of Mathematics are acceptable alternatives to SQA National 5 Maths, if they have been awarded at the National 5 level.
