Course Overview
The programme builds strong grounding in biological sciences through theory and practical work. Students study cell biology, genetics, ecology, and microbiology, along with laboratory and field-based methods used in biological research.
Training includes work with modern lab equipment and data analysis tools used in research centres and industry. Field sessions in Malta support direct study of local ecosystems and species.
Graduates gain skills suited for laboratory work, environmental monitoring, and research assistant roles. The course also supports entry into postgraduate study in biology, biotechnology, and related areas.
Academic staff guide students through structured learning in biological systems, helping build steady scientific skills across laboratory and field settings.
