Course Overview
The MSc in Accounting & Finance gives students advanced study in accounting and finance at postgraduate level. The 90-ECTS programme includes five main subject areas covering governance and ethics, corporate reporting, business analysis, advanced financial management and advanced performance management. Students then complete research methods and a dissertation.
The course can support students who want to develop professional knowledge for accounting, financial management, auditing, taxation, compliance and business analysis roles. It can suit graduates with an accounting, finance, business or economics background, plus some professionals who meet the experience-based entry routes.
The 18-month format gives students a focused postgraduate route. Hybrid classes provide a mix of study methods, subject to programme arrangements. The Barcelona location gives international students the opportunity to study in Spain and build experience in a major European business centre.
General Eligibility
- MQF Level 6 Qualification: In accounting, finance, business, or economics. Other MQF level 6 qualifications are considered through RPL policy.
- Or - MQF Level 5 Qualification: In finance and/or accounting plus 3 years industry experience, considered through RPL policy.
- Or - Accountancy Qualification: MQF level 5 with 3 years industry experience, or MQF level 6, considered through RPL policy.
Part Time Work Details
International students may work subject to the conditions of their Spanish student residence authorisation and current immigration rules. Students should check their permit conditions before starting employment.
