B.A. Art: Art Therapy Concentration

Course Overview

The 122 credit hour Bachelor of Arts degree in Art with a concentration in Art Therapy uses art media, the creative art process, and patient/client responses to reflect an individual’s development, abilities, personality, interests, concerns, and conflicts. It is best described as a major in Art with a minor in Psychology. Students are given a solid foundation to prepare them best to enter Avila’s Graduate Counseling Psychology program (required to practice).
