This masters course in neuroscience care is aimed at qualified healthcare professionals. We'll prepare you for a wide variety of roles as a nurse specialist, consultant, or educator in a wide variety of professional healthcare settings. You'll develop your intellectual skills to collect and interpret medical information at a higher level. The course employs a flexible approach to module selection that allows you to tailor your studies to fit with work and personal commitments and to enhance and support your chosen career pathway. You'll gain a thorough grounding in essential pathology, pharmacology, and nursing practice, as well as developing the research skills needed to promote and lead the evidence-based practice. Optional modules allow you to study more specialized aspects of neuroscience nursing.
To enrol onto this course you'll need to be professionally registered (i.e. with the NMC) and have a minimum of 6 months post-qualification experience working in a neuroscience setting.
