Course Overview

Physics and Mathematics degrees are highly prized and our graduates have excellent career opportunities in industrial research and development, computing, business, finance and teaching. We offer one three-year BSc degree and two four-year degrees, MMath or MPhys, combining these two intimately related disciplines. These programmes provide a strong mathematical training, and mathematical techniques help you to deal with new ideas that often seem counterintuitive, such as string theory, black holes, superconductors and chaos theory. Please note that we regularly review our teaching, so the choice of modules may change.
