Course Overview
The program builds strong grounding in ecology and evolutionary science with direct exposure to real field environments in Finland. Students gain experience in climate response studies, biodiversity tracking, and ecosystem analysis. Research links with Finnish and international institutes allow participation in ongoing environmental projects.
Graduates often move into research roles, environmental consultancy, conservation planning, and doctoral studies. The program supports development of data handling skills, field research methods, and scientific communication, helping students work in academic and applied environmental fields across different countries.
General Eligibility
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in humanities, social sciences, or related fields. Required documents include academic transcripts, CV, motivation letter, and proof of English proficiency. Some applicants may be asked to show previous coursework in research methods, language studies, or data-related studies.
Scholarships are available for non-EU students and usually cover 10%–100% of tuition fees based on academic results and selection score. Applications are submitted through the university admission portal during the annual intake period.
