BDA Specific Learning Difficulties/Dyslexia

Course Overview

Our SpLD/Dyslexia PG Cert can be undertaken on a part-time basis. Through a mixture of theory and practice, you'll focus on how to identify and assess needs and teach learners who may be dyslexic.

General Eligibility

• Recognised Bachelor's degree or higher and evidence of two years of work experience; or successful completion of equivalent courses; or satisfactory preparation for the course through informal or non-formal learning and/or professional experiences subject to the approval of the Academic Chair

  • Copy of latest school credentials

  • Passport copy

  • Emirates ID (if any)

  • Passport Size ID photo

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• A mandatory English Language Test by Bath Spa University UK conducted in the Bath Spa University Academic Center RAK Campus; or IELTS (Academic) test results with an overall score of 6.0, a minimum score of 5.5 for each skill/band.
