Course Overview

The course has been designed to follow the British Psychological Society (BPS) core curriculum. In studying Forensic Psychology at Chester, we will provide you with opportunities to undertake specialist project work in forensic-related areas, and develop your knowledge of the most recent theory and practice in the area through expert teaching from active researchers.

In the NSS, the School of Psychology had an overall student satisfaction rate of 96.5%; we are third in the country for overall satisfaction (Guardian University Guide); and we’re rated 1st in the North West for overall satisfaction.

We also deliver group sessions on career planning within each course and we have a wide range of extensive information covering graduate jobs and postgraduate study.

Students and graduates of the University of Chester can use our services free of charge for up to two years after graduating.

Extra Information / General Entry Requirements:

Please note that GCSE Mathematics at grade C/4 and GCSE English at grade C/4 are both essential.

We also accept a maximum of 8 points from GCE AS Levels and Welsh Baccalaureate (core) and A-level General Studies will be recognized in our offer. Furthermore, we consider a combination of A levels and BTECs/OCRs.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
