Course Overview
The Master of Computer Science gives students advanced technical knowledge through research, laboratory work, and practical software development projects. General Eligibility
Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university. Required documents usually include academic transcripts, degree certificate, passport copy, study plan, recommendation letter, financial documents, and English language test scores. Applications are accepted for Spring and Fall admission through the Graduate School or International Admissions Office.
Tongmyong University offers scholarships for international graduate students. Tuition reductions are available according to English language scores, TOPIK results, and academic performance. New students may receive tuition scholarships of 40% to 50%, depending on scholarship criteria. Students who maintain good academic results may continue receiving scholarship support during later semesters.
Part Time Work Details
International students with a D-2 visa may work part-time after approval from the university and the Korean Immigration Office. Working hours follow Korean immigration rules and depend on language ability and academic performance.
