This full-time 24-month course aims to build a solid foundation in analysing healthcare data and informatics as well as managing healthcare organisations. It is ideally suited to future health data scientists, enabling them to perform analyses and develop novel tools and methods for use in healthcare contexts.
The course is designed to develop the next generation of cutting-edge health data scientists with the skills and knowledge to create new tools and methods matching the latest technological advancements. It provides a strong foundation for you to become a positive agent for dynamic and innovative change in any organisation.
It is aimed at students with biomedical/medical backgrounds, including clinical trainees, as well as students of computer science, mathematics and statistics. It also suits working healthcare professionals (physicians, surgeons, nurses, allied health and researchers) and those working in the healthcare industry, such as in insurance or pharmaceuticals.
Applicants should have a good undergraduate degree at Honours level, or equivalent.
To apply for a postgraduate degree (MA/MSc/MBA/LLM) at the University of Bedfordshire you should have a good honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in an appropriate subject from a recognised university or HE institution.
We will also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications or appropriate work experience.
