You'll be studying an MSc in Advanced Biochemistry at the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences, a leading research centre focused on developing new medicines, better medicines and better use of drugs.
Advanced Biochemistry focuses on how cells work at the molecular level. Together with the related field of molecular biology, biochemistry provides essential advances in understanding the molecular basis of life and how the alteration or disruption of these molecular pathways leads to disease processes.
Academic requirements
Minimum second class (2:2) honours degree or international equivalent in a biological or chemical discipline.
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
