Computing - Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE)

This course is designed to enhance the subject knowledge of students who wish to pursue a career in computing. It covers key topics such as algorithms, data structures, software engineering, and computer systems. The course will provide students with a deeper understanding of these subjects, as well as the practical skills needed to apply them in real-world scenarios. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in computing that will prepare them for further study or entry into the workforce.

Courses are free for those eligible for funding.

The Computing Subject Knowledge Enhancement course aims, through a blend of self-directed learning and online tutorials, to refresh, consolidate and improve your subject knowledge; develop computational thinking; develop an awareness of computing in real-life contexts; promote and develop independent learning skills, and develop your ability to identify and address your own learning needs.
