Our MSc Applied Exercise and Health Science is set in the context of the current health climate, where there is an emphasis on the need to develop quality health services for all ages across the health and social sector.
Throughout the course, you will be supported by our enthusiastic and highly qualified academics who perform regular clinical investigations within the National Health Service and bring this experience into the teaching. Guest lectures take place from experts such as clinical physiotherapists, cardiac rehabilitators, and public health project developers.
You will have access to new state-of-the-art specialist sport and exercise laboratories where you can carry out assessments such as an electrocardiogram (ECG), echocardiography, vascular sonography, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and autonomic function testing.
This course is for those that wish to enhance both academic knowledge and advance their practical skills in the field of Exercise and Health.
Our standard offer for accepting students into this program is an undergraduate degree of 2.2 or above. Applicants from a range of undergraduate subjects (health, science, sport, and exercise) will be considered.
