The foundation year gives you the opportunity to develop your confidence, skills, and knowledge in sports coaching science. Our Sport Coaching Science course includes sports coaching with sport and exercise science. This will allow you to explore the exciting and challenging world of sports coaching, with the science associated with coaching individuals and teams. Placement opportunities and work with coaches will give you valuable knowledge and experience for a future in sports coaching. If you want to prepare for a career related to sports coaching then our applied course will help you develop the practical skills and scientific knowledge to help you achieve your career goal.
A current satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required. Where you do not already have this you can apply for this check through the University. There will be a charge for such applications.
