BN (Hons) Mental Health Nursing

This honours degree course is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and competencies required to become a mental health nurse. Students will learn about the biological, psychological and social factors that influence mental health, as well as how to assess, diagnose and treat mental health conditions. The course covers a range of topics including mental health legislation, clinical supervision, and working with diverse populations. Upon completion of the course, students will be eligible to register as a mental health nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
