This course is an integrated program and is distinctive as it covers the theory of chemical engineering coupled with computer simulation, laboratory practice, and industrial placement that enable graduates to be well equipped with desired skills sought after by employers. The course has the added value of introducing topics that are important for the future energy mixed with a focus on renewables as well as oil and gas. It consists of modules with a total credit value of 480 credits which are made up of 20 standard modules of 20 points each and a design project module of 40 points in the third year, and a group project module of 40 points in the fourth year.
In order to be considered for entry to the programme you will be required to have:
A Level (BBB) or;
BTEC National Diploma (DDM) or;
Access to HE qualifications with 24 x Distinctions 21x Merits or;
Equivalent level 3 qualifications, worth 128 UCAS points
Applicants must hold 5 x GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above).
