LL.B. Law with Business with Foundation Year

This four-year program combines the study of law with business and management principles, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the legal framework that governs business operations. Upon successful completion of the foundation year, students will progress to the law modules, which cover topics such as contract law, tort law, and criminal law. Your Law degree will enable you to progress to the vocational stage of lawyer’s training, to qualify as either a solicitor or barrister. This original and innovative course has been designed in consultation with senior managers to give you both theoretical and practical experience.

As part of your degree, you will have the option to get involved with practical justice including opportunities to shadow a local judge and experience live mediations from our in-house Mediation Clinic. Through our strong links with the local community, Citizens Advice, and local courts, you will have the opportunity to act as a Community Legal Companion for unrepresented parties in court. This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain hands-on work experience in a legal setting.
