This future-facing course will address contemporary social justice issues and promote active citizenship through the arts. As part of this course, youll: Explore cutting-edge practice in the creative arts, including drama, oral storytelling, theatre in education, and creative writing Develop innovative ways to promote purposeful and holistic learning in educational and community settings Challenge young learners to create powerful and transformative story worlds across art forms, creating a sense of community, wellbeing, and empowerment Create culturally relevant teaching and learning opportunities to become a creative educator who places young people at the center of their own learning Work with an experienced team of published educators and arts-based organizations across Yorkshire Develop the confidence and skills to work with and inspire young people
Applicants should either have at least a second class honours degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment.
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
