Course Overview

The course has been designed in conjunction with employers and small businesses in the industry and continues to liaise extensively with professionals and employers through visits, work experience, and staff contact, enabling graduates of this friendly and supportive course to maximize their opportunities for success.

Graduates will typically pursue a career in sports management through public or private sports organizations or through UK regulatory bodies in sports. This may include a variety of job roles, including sports development, sports marketing, sports operations, sports manufacturing, sport product and brand management, sponsorship strategy and communications, volunteer management, or sports event management.

We are here to help you plan your future, make the most of your time at University, and to enhance your employability. We provide access to part-time jobs, and extra-curricular employability-enhancing workshops and offer practical one-to-one help with career planning, including help with CVs, applications, and mock interviews. We also deliver group sessions on career planning within each course and we have a wide range of extensive information covering graduate jobs and postgraduate study.

Students and graduates of the University of Chester can use our services free of charge for up to two years after graduating.
