Course Overview
This programme builds skills in rural systems, land management, and environmental study. Teaching covers field methods, data collection, and analysis of natural systems. Students gain experience through laboratory work and field activities across Malta’s rural areas.
The course has grown through its focus on environmental and agricultural research linked to Mediterranean regions. Academic staff take part in research work connected to soil quality, water management, and rural development practices. Students join this environment through project work and dissertation study.
Graduates move into roles in environmental agencies, agriculture boards, consultancy firms, and research groups. The programme supports development of applied skills used in land planning, ecosystem care, and rural policy work.
