If English is not your first language, this subject-specific international foundation year is an ideal step towards degree-level education. It will give you the necessary academic English language ability and expertise to study for an undergraduate degree in events management within UK higher education. If you require a Student Visa, you will not be eligible for this integrated course and instead should apply for the non-integrated International Foundation Year.
As part of your course, you will:
Build your intercultural awareness and self-confidence
Work on your communication, maths, research and study skills
Increase your skills in presentation, time management, problem-solving and planning
Gain an understanding of university life in the UK
Discover some of the fundamental principles of events management
Gain the ability to plan, promote and produce events of all sizes
Learn about managing staff and suppliers as well as adhering to licensing requirements
If you're applying via UCAS, find out more about how your qualifications fit into the UCAS tariff.
