This challenging and rewarding course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to become a radiation therapist. You'll learn about the physics and biology of radiation, as well as the principles of radiotherapy treatment planning and delivery. The foundation year is designed for students who do not have a science background or who need additional support before embarking on a degree-level programme. Upon successful completion of the foundation year, you'll progress to the full BSc (Hons) degree in Radiotherapy, where you'll continue your studies in more advanced radiation therapy topics such as clinical oncology, radiation protection and quality assurance, and radiotherapy technology.
