Course Overview

In this course, you will learn to identify and evaluate the processes, tools, and outcomes of planning that lead to more sustainable places across the built environment. You will learn how to critically assess planning theory and practice and respond to the growing demand for planning practitioners, strategists, and consultants to address contemporary and future planning and development challenges within their environmental context. This built environment course will also enable you to understand the development process and the wider linkages with other built environment professions as well as develop the skills required to assess, analyze and offer practical sustainable solutions to spatial planning problems.

General Eligibility

A good honors degree (normally at least a Second Class Honours degree or equivalent).
