Speech and Language Therapy - BSc (Hons)

The BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy course at Birmingham City University is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to become a qualified speech and language therapist. Students will learn about the assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages, from paediatric to adult populations. The BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy course is accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT). Graduates of the program will be eligible to apply for registration with the HCPC, which is a requirement for working as a speech and language therapist in the UK. Additionally, the course includes opportunities for students to gain international experience through partnerships with universities in other countries.
