Course Overview

If you have a passion for motorsports then our Motorsports Engineering degree is for you. You will learn engineering principles specific to motorsport.  You will study:  mathematics engineering design and management  dynamics thermo-fluids stress analysis. Our automative lab has specialist equipment including a four-post rig, damper dyno and high speed instrumented engine test cells.  We work with the local autosports industry to shape the content of the course. This means you will have the skills to contribute to this exciting industry. Companies that offer work placements and employment opportunities include:  Mercedes GP Williams McLaren Force India Red Bull Racing  AP Racing. Our graduates have gone on to work with Formula 1 companies as:  race engineers designers chassis or powertrain engineers.
