Secondary Physical Education with QTS - BA (Hons)

This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and experience required to become a highly effective secondary school physical education teacher. Through a combination of theoretical and practical teaching methods, students will learn how to design and deliver engaging and inclusive physical education lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students. The course will also cover the psychology of sport and exercise, sports coaching, and the use of technology in physical education. In addition to this, students will gain experience through a range of placement opportunities, including working with schools and sports clubs. Upon completion of the course, students will be recommended for QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and will be well-prepared to take on the challenges of teaching in today's secondary schools.
