Today’s therapy job landscape involves looking through the lens of an individual's psyche. When researching mental health counseling programs, you need a degree that trains you to walk with clients as they navigate life's challenges. Lipscomb offers just that through our Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In addition to our generalist track, we have specializations in play therapy and addiction, that fully prepare you to enter whichever field of counseling matches your interests.
General Eligibility

A 500-700 word essay that explains more about you and why you're applying to this program. Please include reflections on experiences with helping others and engagement with diversity.
Three letters of recommendation
Official transcripts from all schools in which a degree conferred was received
GRE scores (waived if you already hold a master's degree, optional if you have a 3.0 or above undergraduate GPA)
Optional-you may submit a 45-60 second video that answers the following question: What do you do for fun?
