Diploma Program Chemical Engineering Technician - Lab and Process Control

This diploma program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in a laboratory setting or process control environment. Students will learn how to operate and maintain equipment, perform experiments, and analyze data. They will also gain an understanding of safety protocols and procedures, as well as how to troubleshoot problems in a lab setting. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to apply their knowledge and skills in a variety of industries, including chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, and environmental science.

The program is delivered through a combination of lectures, laboratory sessions, and hands-on training. Students will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, as well as opportunities for work experience and co-op placements. Graduates of the program will be eligible to write the Certified Technician (CT) designation exam offered by the Canadian Institute of Chemical Technology.
