Master's of Data Science

The programme builds skills in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling. Students learn programming methods and data handling techniques used in research and industry projects. Study includes coding tasks, group assignments, and work linked with research groups focused on data science topics.

Students gain experience with methods used in predictive modelling, data mining, and software systems for large-scale data processing. The programme supports work with modern computing tools and practical tasks related to real datasets.

Graduates move into roles in technology companies, analytics teams, research centres, and public organisations. The study structure includes project-based work and collaboration with external partners working in data-related fields. This supports development of technical ability for work in software and data-focused roles.

Applicants need a relevant bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field. Application documents include academic transcripts, CV, motivation letter, and proof of English proficiency.

Scholarships are available for non-EU/EEA students. These may cover 50% to full tuition based on academic performance during admission review. Applications are submitted through the national Studyinfo portal during the admission period.
