The MSc Nursing course will allow you to examine contemporary nursing issues from a clinical perspective. Available to nurses who hold registration in the UK or another country, this course offers an exciting mix of theory and practical application through the use of inquiry-based learning and workshops where a range of tabletop exercises and simulation will be utilized to develop your practical and management skills and knowledge. This 20-month course commences in January, with a break between June and August. This allows you the time to seek your own placement, living, and study abroad opportunities during this time should you wish. Throughout the duration of your course, you will have access to our leading facilities and dedicated Clinical Skills Centre.
A minimum of a 2:2 honors degree in a relevant subject. Registration as a nurse (or a license to practice as a nurse) with a nursing regulator or appropriate licensing board/health department.
20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
International applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with 6 in each component (or approved equivalent*).
