This is an online version of the National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination (NASENCO), a legally required qualification for all new Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators (SENCOs) that must be completed within three years of appointment.
This course will support you to improve your knowledge of current legislation, theory and practice in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) provision in schools/colleges and your skills in meeting those needs.
Applicants should have a good undergraduate degree at Honours level, or equivalent
To apply for a postgraduate degree (MA/MSc/MBA/LLM) at the University of Bedfordshire you should have a good honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in an appropriate subject from a recognised university or HE institution.
We will also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications or appropriate work experience.
You also need to have the required English language qualification

The 20 hours is total hours. It is not per job. If you hold multiple part-time jobs then the total hours of all the work you are doing added together.

The University accepts the following qualification as satisfying the English Language requirements for entry to a Bachelor or Master's degree.
UKVI Academic IELTS overall score of 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each element
