Studying film in London puts you at the center of the filmmaking business. Youll be prepared for work in the film, media, and cultural industries in roles such as film curation, TV production, journalism, PR, publishing, or advertising. A Film Studies degree, like other humanities qualifications, also opens doors to a wide range of non-media specific professions including teaching, management, marketing, and the voluntary and local government sectors. When you finish this course youll have a range of practical skills with which to shape your future, including screenwriting, pitching ideas, and building a creative video portfolio. Although the course does not provide you with professional film or media production training, it will give you the intellectual and practical skills and abilities that are premium requisites in the media and creative industries €“ and our graduates have gone on to work for the BBC, ITV, and Universal (Europe).
