The MRes is a research-based course with a taught component. It provides a springboard into a career that involves a working knowledge of scientific research. The taught component of the course includes subject-specific content in the area of mitochondrial biology and medicine. You have the flexibility to develop your own bespoke course by selecting additional, complementary modules. You will also participate in training in general research principles, and other professional and key skills.
A minimum of a 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in: a life science or related discipline or an MBBS/BDS degree
IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.5 in all sub-skills).
