Course Overview

The Media and Journalism MA is designed for new graduates and experienced journalists. It is suitable if you are wanting to develop a career in journalism and related occupations or progress to a Ph.DThe MA is a research-focused course that develops your cultural understanding, critical analysis and introduces the content production skills needed for global media industries. It provides an international context suitable for students from across the globe. The course is flexible and you can tailor it towards professional practice or academic engagement with the field. You do not need a media background to join this course. You will have the opportunity to learn alongside and collaborate with professional journalists. General Eligibility

A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent. We will also consider your application on an individual basis if you have lower or non-standard qualifications and relevant professional experience in: the media broadcast journalism print journalism
