Course Overview

The MPhil and Ph.D. programs in Marine Sciences provide research training, supervision, and collaboration to international standards. You can choose a wide range of topics within the marine science research groups of Marine Hydrodynamics and Structures (MHS) and Sustainable Shipping and Marine Engineering (SSME). Leading industrial organizations in the Marine and Renewables sector sponsor many research projects. Other projects involve collaboration between Newcastle and other institutions.
