BA (Hons) in Ceramics

This course provides students with the opportunity to explore the creative and technical aspects of ceramics, including hand-building, throwing, and glazing. Students will learn about the history and development of ceramics, as well as the materials and techniques used in the medium. The course will also cover the business side of the industry, including marketing and selling your work. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of the art and craft of ceramics and be able to create their own unique pieces.

Cross-disciplinary projects will prepare you for teamwork later on, whilst live briefs will prepare you for deadlines and the demands of tight specifications.

CSAD has an internationally renowned reputation for postgraduate and PhD studies in Ceramics, and on completion of their undergraduate studies students have the opportunity to progress their academic and creative ambition further through these pathways.

Minimum three A levels. No specific subjects are required. Welsh Baccalaureate – Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate is considered a third subject.
