This course offers new graduates or teachers with some experience the opportunity to gain the skills to move into, or develop within, the English Language Teaching world.
For new graduates, our MA provides the opportunity to mix the practical with the theoretical, so you can enter the world of work not only with a CELTA, the world-leading initial teaching qualification but with knowledge of the theory behind the pedagogy. Teachers with experience will develop skills, knowledge, and experience to prepare you to move into academic management.
This is a very practical English Language Teaching-focused Master’s degree designed to produce well-qualified staff to teach English as a foreign language. This qualification will make students hugely employable and make it much easier to work in either British Council (BC)-accredited schools around the world and/or to move into more senior positions in the English Language Teaching field.
