Our Energy programs allow you to specialize in areas such as bio-energy, novel geo-energy, sustainable power, fuel cell and hydrogen technologies, power electronics, drives and machines, and the sustainable development and use of key resources. Our graduates are in demand, and they continue to be among the most employable in the country. By providing internships and work experience placements wherever possible, we ensure you have the relevant skills to excel in your chosen career. Employers play an active role in our degrees by delivering technical lectures or taking a role in professional skills modules. Many PhD programs include training and work experience in commercial laboratories. Selected courses are developed and accredited by professional organizations and many courses include project-based assignments and/or case study analysis.
A 2:1 honors degree and/or a master's, or international equivalent, in a relevant subject.
