Course Overview

The thesis will be a large piece of the independent research study. To facilitate this students will be assigned a supervision team who will be responsible for supporting and supervising the student during their research. Regular supervision meetings will be held each year, and a thorough review of needs will be established and reviewed each year. It is anticipated that many students on the Top Up component may be based some distance from Cardiff and in those cases, the supervision team will support meetings through Skype or video conferencing. However, where additional training requires students to attend the university, it is expected that the student will factor this into their time commitments.

General Eligibility

Applicants are required to be registered as Forensic Psychologists with the HCPC and will have completed an HCPC-approved route to qualification.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
